Most companies claim to do all of the basics, and hopefully, they do what they say.
Lely Resort Home watch is different from the “Hobby Home Watch” or “Friendly Neighbor Homewatch” companies.

By choosing Lely Resort Home Watch you will be getting more than just a run of the mill home watch company. By remaining a small, family operated company we are able to provide exemplary service to every client.
- LOCATION
We live within 15 minutes of your home. We can promptly handle any situation from bringing in your mail, taking out your garbage, meeting a vendor, or addressing an emergency situation.
- INSURED AND BONDED
Lely Resort Home Watch is fully insured with $1,000,000 of liability insurance as well as a security bond. Each certificate is available upon request.
- PERFORM SMALL REPAIRS OR PRODUCT INSTALLATIONS
We are not a licensed contractor, but we are able to perform smaller duties that might arise.
Some examples would be:
- Change out smoke detectors or batteries
- Install smart door locks
- Install video doorbell
- Change light bulbs or batteries as needed
- Organize garage by mounting brackets or other mounting devices
- assembly of furniture or cabinets
- DIRECT COMMUNICATION
All communication will go directly to the owner of the company. We pride ourselves on answering every call or returning missed calls as quickly as possible.
- EXEMPLARY SERVICES
At Lely Resort Home Watch we go the extra steps as our routine. Here is a partial list of services that most companies do not do on routine home inspections:
Toilets: We encourage homeowners to provide a brush and bowl cleaner at each toilet. We will brush each toilet on each visit to minimize the risk of odor producing elements and the ring of mineral deposits left by water evaporation.
Weeds: If the home has an area that needs attention due to weed growth on paved or concrete surfaces, we will spray the weeds as needed with the weed killer product provided by the homeowner.
Stored Vehicles: If desired and you have a car in long-term storage, we will make sure your battery trickle charger is connected. We offer vehicle drive services after a waiver has been signed.
Debris Removal: If your entrance or driveway becomes full of debris, we will use a leaf blower to make the area clear of the mess.
Water Plants: We will gladly water a few plants while you are gone. While we are not horticulturists, we will try our best to keep your plants alive.
Cleaning Services: We work with several cleaning services and we are happy to arrange for your house to be cleaned. We will meet the cleaners at your house when they arrive, and secure your property after they are done
